Why choose Spanish Algarve Services?

As you will have seen from the services available, we have already demonstrated the wide variety of help that we can give you. Together with a professional and dedicated team on hand to cope with all eventualities, we believe that we offer our clients a fully comprehensive, top quality service.

We use our property several times a year - why do we need a Management Agent?

You wouldn't leave your home in England unattended for months at a time and the same applies to your home in Spain. Not only is the property subject to the effects of possible water damage, electrical problems, weathering and vermin but if the property is not aired frequently then your furnishings may start to show signs of mould, damp etc.

Also, when you arrive in your second home do you really want to start cleaning - or would you prefer to arrive to a pristine and welcoming environment ready for you to relax straight away?

Add to these the benefits of knowing any guests are given all our help and assistance to enjoy their stay in your home and you will start to see the importance of a management agent.

We arenąt going to rent out our property so why do we need a management company?

Your property on the Costa de la Luz may well be one of the biggest investments you ever make and as such you should consider all eventualities and protect that investment wisely. If you have purchased your property for your own exclusive use, consider our key holding service. This will ensure your property has regular security checks and inspections for signs of any problems. We don't always know when we want to use our property - if we rent it out through SAS will we be free to use it when we please?

Our prime consideration is you the owner and the enjoyment of your home. To be as flexible as possible we require that you give us an indication of the weeks that you will require for your own use and we will make sure that your home is free and waiting for your arrival. Any changes to this we will try to accommodate - all we would ask is that you contact us by email or telephone to ensure that we have not placed any rentals in your home for that period and then we will be happy to block it off for you. We always remember that it is your property and you should be free to enjoy it whenever you wish.

My property on the Costa de la Luz is an investment - can you help me receive the highest revenue return?

We will provide you with holiday rental income by direct marketing including placing your property on our associatesą holiday rental web sites; receiving rental payments and ensuring your guests are completely satisfied. Monies due to you from any rental will, of course, be transferred directly into a bank account of your choice.

How will I know when my property is to be occupied?

As soon as we receive a confirmed rental we will inform you either by fax, e-mail or post. Should you wish to double-check dates or make a booking of your own, you can fax, email or phone us and we will block off those dates for your use.

How about arranging a hire car?

We have an associate company who will deliver the car to your property when you request it or will have the car ready at the airport for you to collect. When you leave, simply leave the hire car at the airport for collection. If you need a taxi this too can be arranged through us. Please see Additional Services – Car Hire.

Who can I rely on to help me with my building and maintenance?

Spanish Algarve Services have an extensive network of fully qualified local tradesmen. The wide range of services that we can provide cover painting/ plumbing/ carpentry/ electrical work/ building works/ tiling/ installation of air-conditioning/ heating units/ installation and maintenance of swimming pools & heating pumps.
